Author Guidelines

LexCult publishes papers on cultural and juridic areas.

In each issue, specific themes can be defined for publication.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

The papers will be submitted to an editorial board for the veritification of their suitability to the journal editorial line. The manuscripts considered to be relevant will then be anonymously sent over to two reviewers (blind peers), which will decide on the paper's acceptance or rejection, examining the work formal structure, its originality, thematic pertinence and adequacy to the journal policies. The evaluation follows the blind review system, in which the peers do not have any information about the work authorship, therefore, respecting the author's privacy and applying impartiality in the selection process, regarding the author as well as the evaluator/reviewer. Reviewers may suggest changes to both structure and content. The reviewers’ comments and opinions are sent to authors along with instructions for the suggested changes. If it is the case, the modified text should be sent over to the editor, which will evaluate the changes made. If the manuscript receives divergent reviews, the paper is sent to a member of the editorial board.

The estimated time for the review process is that of 4 (four) months.
