DIREITOS SOCIAIS: ART. 6º. DA CONSTITUIÇÃO DE 1988 E SUA VINCULAÇÃO À DIGNIDADE DA PESSOA HUMANA
Abstract
This article sought to examine the social rights provided for in Article 6. of the 1988 Federal Constitution and the importance of its link to human dignity to reinforce the application of public social assistance policies. The normative evolution of these rights was analyzed following the 1988 constitutional reform and the relevance of the contemporary debate for the effective application of social rights by public and private entities. The work was carried out through a basic search, using the article's keywords as a search parameter, where thousands of results were found, in already published material, mainly composed of books and periodical articles available on the internet. He concluded by noting the importance of scientific work on social rights in which arguments were constructed to transform this topic to the level of fundamental rights, as well as reinforcing the transfer of the discussion from the legal-constitutional field to the field of concrete application of public policies.
